Responsibilities:
This position will work collaboratively with the Director of Development, Executive Director, donors, and other community partners as needed. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about working to assist community members facing hardship.
The Development & Communications Assistant will be responsible for:
- Managing and planning fundraising and stewardship events
- Coordinating event logistics and communications
- Maintaining and updating donor database
- Assisting with donation processing and receipting
- Conducting donor research and coordinating weekly and quarterly donor contacts
- Supporting grant writing, research, reporting, and compliance efforts
- Assisting in drafting communications and content creation
