Sunshine Quality Solutions is seeking a Precision Ag Consultant. This role provides services, expertise, and training for the sale and support of solutions enabled by the John Deere Precision Ag strategy and other aligned technologies. You will ensure ongoing Precision Ag integration and collaborate with all dealership departments to sell and support precision farming products and services.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the execution of the dealership’s John Deere Precision Ag strategy.
- Develop and implement plans for ongoing Precision Ag integration across all departments.
- Lead initiatives related to John Deere precision farming products.
- Ensure all departments understand John Deere Precision Ag solutions.
- Act as the technical specialist for new precision farming products.
- Facilitate the adoption of new technologies and product offerings.
- Create and deliver training for employees and customers on Precision Ag solutions.
- Recommend stocking and inventory needs for solutions enablement.
- Advise on ordering options for new technology products.
- Provide solutions-based consulting to optimize performance and reduce costs for customers.
- Support dealership efforts with third-party providers and related John Deere businesses.

What’s Required:
- 1-2 years of experience in an agriculture-related role.
- Proficient in electrical and wireless communication systems.
- Solutions-oriented with the ability to identify customer needs.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and internet functions.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to locations.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience in Agronomy, Agriculture Business, or Agriculture Mechanization.
- 2 years of experience in an agriculture-related role.
- Experience in dealership sales, service, or training.
- Certified Crop Advisor certification.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy, Agriculture Business, or Agriculture Mechanization.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment or materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capability to operate agricultural machinery and tools.
- Comfortable working in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
- Ability to perform manual tasks, including climbing, kneeling, and crouching.
- Vision abilities for assessing equipment and working with technology.
