What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sunshine Sammies FOH/Mobile Operations Manager position at Sunshine Sammies?
We are hiring a Front Of House/ Mobile Operations Manager to join our crew! Help lead our team in making and selling delicious ice cream sammies while using your organizational skills, customer service skills, and management experience.
This is a seasonally contracted full time position with bonus incentives and option for off-season work. Our busy season is April thru October and hours required are greatest during this period of time. Pay starts at $22/hr. Weekend availability is required. 4 day work week. Room for growth within our business as we continue to grow.
Due to the seasonality of our business, the manager needs to be comfortable working solo or with a small crew during the slower months as well as managing a larger crew during the busy summer months. This is a hands-on managerial role where you will be working alongside staff as well as performing managerial tasks.
Primary Duties and Qualifications:
- Ensure that all shop policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs are followed and completed on a timely basis.
- Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
- Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the shop’s portioning and serving standards.
- Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures.
- Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of shop, mobile trucks and carts. Maintain sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
- Ordering/Inventory Management
- Mobile operations correspondence and scheduling.
- Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules, event sheets, catering and mobile operations checklist.
- Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the shop, employees and guests.
- Perform personnel actions, such as hiring and providing employee orientation and training
- Attend/Lead all scheduled employee and management meetings and offer suggestions for improvement.
- Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guest/client needs and support the operation of the shop.
- Being comfortable driving vintage vehicles and cargo vans.
