Job Description: As an Apprentice Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting our lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children. You will gain hands-on experience while working towards your secondary education in Early Childcare Education (ECE). This position is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about early childhood education and are looking to build a career in this rewarding field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily activities and lesson plans.
- Provide individual and group support to children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
- Collaborate with lead teachers and staff to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Observe and document children's progress and behavior.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing updates on their child's development.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to enroll in a secondary education program in Early Childcare Education (ECE).
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in education, childcare, or other caregiving field working with pediatrics.
- Strong passion for working with young children and a commitment to their development and well-being.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of child development principles.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
