Residential Solar Construction Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to lead our solar projects from inception to completion. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in construction management, project oversight, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards while fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.

Description:

Sunshine Solar is a full service, residential solar installer looking for an experienced and driven individuals to join our ever-growing team! The position plays an integral role in the overall success of our business. With many moving parts, it takes a special person to keep the installation department moving in the right direction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for construction operations that align with company goals.
• Lead and mentor construction teams, promoting professional development and effective collaboration.
• Manage relationships with clients and subcontractors to facilitate business development opportunities.
• Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards throughout all projects.
• Installation Crew (support, train).
• Review and prep outgoing Installations.
• Complete site visits to ensure installations are meeting company standard
• Review completed jobs from previous day.
• Update the calendar.
• Upload job notes to CRM.
• Insure all required items are completed for funding.
• Assist with managing local vehicle fleet.
• Hold monthly Safety Meetings with field staff.
• Attend scheduled meetings with Management.
• Coordinate with Warehouse and Management on job materials.
• Attend applicable training.
• And other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Understanding of NEC codes with emphasis on residential PV installations.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Solar or Electrical field.
• Previous leadership experience.
• OSHA 10/30 Certification is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
