Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas by following established cleaning protocols.
- Conduct floor care activities including buffing and polishing surfaces.
- Assist with custodial tasks in residential and commercial properties.
- Carry out facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure safe and clean environments.
- Execute industrial cleaning procedures for specialized equipment or areas.
- Provide porter services by ensuring that common areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning, custodial services, or facilities maintenance is preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Skills in floor care, including buffing and maintenance of various flooring types.
- Ability to perform residential painting tasks as needed is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be physically capable of lifting and moving objects as required for cleaning tasks.
