Job Skills / Requirements
Sunstates Security is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to design, develop, and implement innovative BI solutions for a high profile national client. The ideal candidate will transform raw data into actionable insights, enabling business stakeholders to make data-driven decisions. This role requires a deep understanding of BI tools, data modeling, and analytics, with a passion for optimizing reporting processes.
This position will be based in the Phoenix area with an expected 10-15% of travel to other locations throughout the month.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
BI Solution Development:
Design, develop, and deploy BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
Create and maintain data models, KPIs, and metrics to meet business needs.
Data Integration & Analysis:
Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources into the data warehouse.
Analyze data to identify trends, patterns and insights that inform strategic decisions.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders, to gather and define requirements.
Provide training and support to end-users for effective utilization of BI tools.
Performance Optimization:
Monitor BI system performance and troubleshoot any issues.
Optimize data queries and BI tools for efficiency and scalability.
Documentation & Standards:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of BI solutions, processes, and best practices.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security compliance.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a BI Developer or in a similar role.
Experience with Microsoft Suite, Power BI, ServiceNow, CCure, Genetech, and BioConnect platforms
Hands-on experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, or DAX is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is preferred.
Knowledge of advanced analytics and machine learning is an advantage.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
