Sunstates Security is hiring Full-Time Physical Security Specialist for a client site in Chicago, IL. This position offers a pay rate of $38/hr, paid weekly.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Requirements:
Have 2 years of experience in security, military, or law enforcement.
Valid PERC Card preferred.
2 years of experience in customer service.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
Must be able to work holidays, weekends, special events, on site emergencies, and in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
Manage life safety systems and equipment such as CCTV, Security/Duress Alarms, electronic access control, and any other systems that may be installed at assigned offices.
Monitor physical security alarms such as door forced open, door held open alarms; additionally, any audible alarm necessitating a physical emergency response.
Provide any escorts throughout the facilities when required.
Ensure effective prompt reporting for both incidents and observations to provide meaningful real time recommendations of safety and security risks.
Must have a high level of Google Suite operational knowledge.
Assist with assigned administrative tasks and any other duties as assigned.
Be flexible and drive change management.
Mentor, train, and develop security officers and shift leads.
Notify the client's Physical Security Operations leadership and GSOC of any issues, observations, and/or incidents in a timely manner.
Ensure posts are covered.
A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer must read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
