Sunstates Security is hiring Flex Security Officers in the greater Portland area. The pay rate for these positions is $24/hr - paid weekly. Must be available to work any day, shift

Requirements:
Must have a reliable means of transportation and be willing and able to travel to any site in the Portland metropolitan area any of the seven days of the week. The preferred candidate will have availability for short notice work and call outs, outstanding customer service skills, a valid driver’s license and clean record. Reliability and dependability are a must for these positions.

- A minimum of 1 year of Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is preferred.
- Must be willing to work a minimum of two of three shifts (day, swing, graveyard), hiring preference will be given to candidates who have 3rd shift (graveyard) availability.
- Must possess a current DPSST unarmed security license; a current CPR certification is a plus.
- Must regularly stand or walk for extended periods of time and distance.
- Can mentally analyze a situation, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure.
- Is generally comfortable using computer systems; experience with access control, wireless device tag scanning and Microsoft Office software is a plus.
- Read and understand written instructions and communicate information and ideas in clear and concise written form and in a timely manner across a variety of platforms.
- Exceptional Report Writing Skills.
- Willing and able to work holidays and weekends.
- Willing to work in all weather conditions.
- Able to work independently.
- Clean background, and drug screen.

High School diploma or equivalent
Certification Requirements (All)
Oregon DPSST License
