Description :
- Ensure the store is providing customer service that meets or exceeds the company and customers standards
- Accountable for total financial function of the retail store and deli to maximize its profitability - accurately accounting for sales receipts, payables, payroll, etc
- Develop all new associates by providing training as it relates to new employee orientation, safety, customer service and performance standards.
- Establishing a solid working relationship with vendors
- Direct involvement with hiring store personnel
- Supervise and coach direct reports in their daily work performance
- As necessary, coach, discipline, and / or terminate according to company policy
- Perform inventory counts, cash drawer audits, and reconciliations
- Complete price surveys of the competition and execute price changes as needed
- Drive store sales through promotion and incentive contests
- Conduct daily visual inspection of the site to ensure it offers an expectable appearance to customers
