What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Tech position at SunStop?
Position Summary: Responsible for performing general preventive maintenance, environmental inspections, and minor repairs for all company-owned properties & chain of convenience stores.
Responsibilities / Duties:
1. Travel to company-owned properties and perform environmental inspections & preventative maintenance schedule in order to maintain a safe & appealing environment for our customers and employees.
2. Support and help other company maintenance technicians when needed.
3. Perform minor repairs for outside customers.
4. Keep home office warehouse clean & orderly.
5. Maintain stock on service truck that is needed to perform tasks.
6. Maintain daily work orders & times sheets documenting tasks, time & mileage.
7. Comply with procedures.
8. Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
Specific Knowledge & Skills:
• High school diploma or equal preferred.
• General Knowledge of the operation of power tools.
• Painting experience preferred.
• Minor electrical & plumbing skills preferred.
• Able to learn on the job training.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clear MVR.
• Must be highly motivated & able to work independently & complete tasks in a timely manner.
HVAC IS A PLUS
Physical requirements:
Must be able to drive service truck, operate power tools, and move heavy objects consistently as necessary.
