Overview
We are seeking a motivated Solar Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting leads/appointments for customers to get there home evaluated for Solar Power. As a Solar Consultant, you will leverage your sales skills and technical knowledge to promote sustainable energy options, helping customers reduce their energy costs while contributing to a greener planet. This position requires a strong customer service orientation and the ability to work independently in an outside sales environment. Suntapped Energy is a Solar Dealer company for many large companies including Vivint Smart Home, meaning we also sell alarm systems and offer bundles for customers who get both services, or one or the other!
Responsibilities
- Conduct door-to-door outreach to identify potential customers interested in solar energy solutions.
- Utilize Salesforce and other software tools to manage leads, track customer interactions, and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance sales strategies and improve overall performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and advancements in solar technology to provide informed recommendations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
- Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply as it enhances communication with a broader customer base.
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively in a door-to-door sales environment.
- Knowledge of the solar market and renewable energy solutions is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.

Pay: $36,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
