Job Summary:
The Onboarding Specialist will play a pivotal role in creating a seamless and engaging experience for new hires, ensuring they feel welcomed, informed, and equipped to succeed in their roles. This position is responsible for coordinating, delivering, and continuously improving the onboarding process to align with the company’s culture, principles, and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for new hires during their onboarding journey, addressing questions, concerns, and feedback.
- Provide new hires with all necessary tools, resources, and training materials.
- Facilitate engaging onboarding sessions to introduce new employees to the company’s mission, principles, policies, and organizational structure.
- Monitor new hire progress during their onboarding period and provide timely support or resources to address challenges.
- Serve as a liaison between new hires and departments, facilitating smooth transitions into their teams.
- Facilitate icebreakers and team-building activities to create a sense of community among new hires.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the academy through participant feedback and performance assessments.
- Stay updated on best practices and tools in onboarding to continuously elevate the program.
- Track onboarding milestones and report outcomes to leadership, offering insights into retention, engagement, and areas for improvement.
- Promote Suntec's core principles to cultivate a collaborative, accountable work culture and encourage an ESOP mindset that emphasizes ownership, teamwork, and long-term investment.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in onboarding, human resources, or a related role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships and creating positive experiences.
- A passion for fostering a welcoming and inclusive work environment.
- Experience in employee engagement or retention initiatives.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
