This role as part of the Global Brands Finance team to support Maker’s Mark, which is a priority focus for Beam Suntory. This position will work closely with our Global Finance teams and partner closely with Brand House Marketing. Key responsibilities include providing exemplary finance business support and business partnering to the Finance Director (Bourbon/HoS/Scotch) and his/her teams as they set their brand’s strategic agendas and create plans to improve their financial performance.

Role Responsibilities

Partner with the FD (Bourbon/HoS/Scotch) to develop long term, strategic, planning and provide financial guidance.
Support the FD of the House in managing business performance, setting priorities, and allocating financial and human resources.
Drive financial performance through high quality decision support, including overall P&L, ROIC, free cash flow, sales/margin management, and close control over cost and expense management
Provide financial analysis and decision support on development of long-term brand plan, innovation and expansion / optimization plan, MIR, strat plan, annual budget, etc.
Manage tracking and reporting of visitor center financials
Actively identify and drive process improvements in financial reporting
Review and appraise capital investment decisions during the budgeting process, particularly as it relates to brand specific investment, innovation, visitor experience, etc.
Maintain financial controls and compliance with BSI processes and procedures
Maintain financial reporting integrity and control across the brand house
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in finance or Business Administration
Minimum 5-7 years of financial experience
Strong analytical and quantitative skills required – ability to extract, manipulate, mine, and analyze data for key insights
Strong analytical, Excel, and computer skills a must
Excellent communication and personal skills desired. Develop and maintain cross functional and key working relationships within the organization
Minimal travel required
Salary Range - The salary range for this role, based in New York, is $120-125k, along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The salary range is commensurate with the candidate’s location, experience, and skillset. The range will vary if outside of this location.
