Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Energy Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting solar and battery options to residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, particularly in technical and outside sales, with a focus on solar energy solutions. This position requires a proactive approach to building relationships with clients and educating them on the benefits of solar and home battery systems.
Duties
- Present and demonstrate solar and battery products to prospective customers.
- Develop tailored energy proposals based on client assessments.
- Utilize software tools for tracking leads, managing customer relationships, and reporting sales activities.
- Collaborate with team members to strategize on sales approaches and lead generation.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and competitive products.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical sales or outside sales, preferably in the energy or solar industry.
- Strong understanding of energy efficiency concepts and products.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to cater to diverse client needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a knack for building rapport with clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Leadership qualities that inspire confidence in clients and motivate team members.
- A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Willingness to travel within designated territories as required.
