The Role: Plant Manager
You will lead our manufacturing facility, driving operational excellence in safety, production, quality, and efficiency. You'll manage a team, optimize workflows, and ensure top-tier product quality while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all plant operations, including production, logistics, maintenance, and quality control.
- Implement and enforce safety standards while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing team.
- Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve plant performance.
- Collaborate with leadership to align operational goals with company objectives.
Requirements:
- 8 years in a leadership role within a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in steel fabrication processes (roll forming, welding, press brakes).
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
- Skills: Lean manufacturing, production scheduling, quality control, OSHA regulations.
- Leadership: Strong communication, team development, and strategic planning abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Lean/Six Sigma certification (Greenbelt/Blackbelt).
- Experience with IAS, ISO, or equivalent quality control standards.
