Job Summary:
This role ensures the accuracy and completeness of loan documents, maintaining an organized system for document processing, and supporting our commitment to providing exceptional service to our members.
Essential Job Duties:
Processing Duties:
- Prepare appropriate title release letters and other letters for members as needed with accuracy and detail.
- Process and sort mail to appropriate Loan Services teams
- Accurately process daily batch jobs for all funds received on loan payoff checks, and insurance checks.
- Process incoming vehicle titles. Verify title for accuracy and file in title cabinets.
- Verify and deliver titles or checks to the dealer/member in the lobby when requested and verify loan has paid off.
- Process vehicle titles when loan paid off.
- Mail title if needed after verifying proper address.
Administrative Duties:
- Perform loan support in accordance with policies, established procedures, and interpreting regulations while meeting all deadlines and performance expectations.
- Provide exceptional service to internal and external members in alignment with the Credit Union's core values.
- Support the member and Credit Union staff by responding to document related support requests with accuracy and professionalism.
- Scan various loan documentation to in-house imaging system.
- Scan insurance policies to Allied Insurance Solutions.
- Verify all required paperwork for all new loans, GAP contracts, MRC contracts are in the in-house imaging system.
- Prepare certified mail and Federal Express packages.
- Verify and deliver titles or checks to the dealer/member in the lobby when requested and verify loan has paid off.
- Support document management policy compliance
- Process returned mail by flagging accounts and noting those requiring address updates.
- Update member addresses in the system as needed.
- Process checks before end of day (Loan payments, deposits)
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Familiar and comfortable with information technology, particularly digital means of communication.
- Strong organizational skills in managing multiple initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling and reviewing loan documents
- Ability to accurately balance work before leaving for the day.
- Able to work independently
Knowledge:
- Familiarity with loan documents
Education and Experience:
- Minimum six months years’ experience financial institutions, lending, processing or other related experience
- Minimum of high school degree or GED or more than six months of related experience in lieu of education
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 10 pounds at times.
Salary : $34,894 - $43,618
