What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Maintenance Worker position at Sunway (USA) Investment Group LLC?
You will work with the head of engineering department to ensure the top performance of the property and the compliance with law, regulations, brand and hotel standard. Duties include the following without limitation:
- Attend morning staff meetings to communicate daily vendor appointments and required work.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with other maintenance workers, management and staff and work closely with them on all special maintenance projects.
- Maintain grounds and common areas and keep them free from trash and debris.
- Report maintenance concerns directly to management and perform repairs.
- Conduct irrigation systems repairs.
- You will be required to move heavy objects and you may drive maintenance trucks or hotel van.
- Monitor and control maintenance inventory and supplies.
- Perform preventive maintenance for various equipment and system at the hotel.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- High school or equivalent or above , trade school a plus
- Prior experience in plumbing, carpentry, electrical, pool, mechanical, or HVAC, painting, and/or flooring are a plus
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner
- Must be able to cross-train in other hotel related areas
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
