Job Title: Consumer Loan Processor
Division/Department: Consumer Lending
Reports to: Consumer Loan Processing Manager

Job Summary: Builds and maintains successful member relationships by funding and servicing loans to member’s complete satisfaction. Provide exceptional member service to members and internal staff at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Funds a minimum of $1.25M in loan volume each month.
- Actively seeks opportunities to increase loan volume; consistently meets or exceeds goals.
- Assemble loan title packets to Title Department for submission to funding within 3 days of funding.
- Assist Loan Originators in facilitating loan closings.
- Accurately determine invoice and wholesale values for various types of collateral.
- Open New Memberships for non members when approved for loans.
- Uphold the compliance requirement of all related federal regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering policies and procedures.
- Complete annual BSA training requirements as by SunWest Credit Union.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one year experience as loan officer required.
- Other prior lending experience helpful.
- Driver’s license required.
- Understanding of Credit Union Philosophy
- Excellent computer efficiency (MS Office/Word/Excel and Outlook)
- Detail oriented required. Documents need to be accurate, complete and timely.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productive standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 10 lbs.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone.
