Responsibilities : The successful candidate will provide program coordination and teaching with the combined equivalent of 15 credit hours per semester. Provide oversight of the program's internal and external networks to include working with adjunct faculty, scheduling, budgeting, and collaborating with local agencies. Instruct courses central to the discipline with a focus on interviewing, problem-solving, and group skills. Additional duties include conducting scheduled office hours for student conferences, academic advisement, participation on college committees, as assigned, and continuing professional growth. Demonstrate willingness and ability to teach remotely and be trained on Brightspace.
Qualifications : Master's degree in Human Services, Counseling, Social Work, or closely related discipline is required. Certification in Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counseling (CASAC) and two years experience teaching at the college level is required. Exceptions to the degree requirements may be made for compelling reasons.
