Clinton Community College, a member of the State University of New York, invites applications for a Tenure Track Faculty position in Nursing, effective with the Fall 2025 semester. The College has forward-thinking, dynamic faculty and staff and is situated on the shores of Lake Champlain with panoramic views of the Adirondack Mountains and the Green Mountains of Vermont.
Minimum salary is $49,063.61 and is complemented by an excellent benefits package.
Responsibilities :
Responsibilities include 15-18 credit hours of instruction per semester in Medical / Surgical Nursing in classroom, college lab and clinical settings, conducting scheduled office hours for student conferences and academic advisement, as well as assigned committee work. There is an expectation of service to the college, community, and the profession during the academic year (mid-August through mid-May).
Qualifications :
NYS license as a Registered Nurse and Master's degree in Nursing is required. Minimum of two years of clinical experience and teaching experience preferred. Applicants who do not have two years of clinical and / or teaching experience as stated are encouraged to put in writing precisely how their background and experience have prepared them for the responsibilities of the position and by providing appropriate references. Preference given to applicants with experience in simulation-based learning technologies such as high and low fidelity manikins and virtual reality.
