- Responsible for cleanliness and sanitation of work area during and after service.
- During slow periods, maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen or storage areas.
- Ensure clean plates, cups, utensils, etc. as well as other cleaning related duties as directed by Supervisor/Manager.
- Ensuring the availability of clean dishes by washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware.
- Cleaning machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, and pans, mixers, etc.
- Sweeping and mopping floors, especially in the event that items are broken or spilled.
- Taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans.
- Make sure bathrooms are kept clean.
- Assist other employees in the performance of their jobs as directed by supervisor or Unit Manager.
- Observe safety and sanitation standards.
- Report any damages or break downs to the manager.
- May be asked to complete other related tasks.
Job Requirements:
- Must have previous experience and/or knowledge
- of proper food service sanitation practices
- of how to safely operate and clean a slicer
- of how to safety operate a dishwasher
- Must possess a positive attitude and practice positive customer conduct.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
Additional Information:
- $15.50-$16.50/hour
- Various Part-Time Shifts Available.
