Veterinary Technology - ONLINE

Primary duties of the faculty member are teaching assigned courses offered by the Veterinary Science Technology Department as part of the A.A.S. Online Program. This position is a fully online, remote teaching position. Additional duties may include student advisement, curriculum development, and participation in department and college functions and committee work. This is a full-time tenure track position with an academic year obligation (10 months) beginning Aug 11, 2025.

• LVT/RVT/or CVT (or DVM) eligible with ability to be licensed to practice Veterinary Technology in New York within 6 months of employment
• Bachelor's degree required. Candidate must commit to complete a Master degree program within 5 years of employment.
• Applicable professional/clinical experience = minimum 3 yrs experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong attention to detail; and computer skills
• Enthusiasm for teaching undergraduate veterinary technology students is of the utmost importance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge or experience with online teaching platforms/modalities
• Master's degree or higher in related field
• Teaching experience (preferably at the college level)

• Salary: $52,000
• This is a 10-month academic year, tenure track position
