The Department of Pathology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a Pathologist / Clinical Assistant Professor (GFT), Hematopathology / Molecular Genetic Pathology. The successful candidate will :
- Lead educational activities in genetic testing and molecular pathology for pathology residents and medical students.
- Carry out approximately 1-2 months of hematopathology sign-out.
- Participate in research with presentation of work at national meetings and publish in peer-reviewed journals.Required Qualifications :
- MD or DO Degree
- Board certification or eligibility in Anatomic and / or Clinical Pathology
- Board certification or board eligibility in Hematopathology
- Eligibility for New York State Medical LicensurePreferred Qualifications :
