What are the responsibilities and job description for the IMT-HIS Project Coordinator position at SUNY Upstate Medical University?
Job Summary:
Coordinates project activities for assigned projects and assists HIS Managers/Program Managers in the successful completion of project deliverables. Works collaboratively with other source owners to develop a project plan for each project that will establish project timelines, tasks, and milestones in collaboration with the vendor. Assist in the analysis and formulation of system requirements and communicating those requirements to IMT and/or vendors.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 5 years relevant professional work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be self-directed with strong interpersonal, communication, analytic and computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge and/or use of Healthcare Information Systems in a hospital setting or experience working in a health care setting is preferred. Prior experience as a project team lead specifically related to Laboratory Initiatives and lab knowledge is strongly preferred
Work Days:
Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm
