Job Title: Breakfast Attendant
Position Summary:
We are looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Breakfast Attendant to create a welcoming and enjoyable morning experience for our guests. This role is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and cleaning the breakfast area while ensuring high standards of food presentation, cleanliness, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up breakfast service, ensuring all food and beverage items meet hotel brand standards.
- Monitor and replenish food and beverage items, including coffee, tea, creamers, milk, juice, and pre-packaged food (yogurt, fruit cups, baked goods).
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked breakfast station, ensuring all necessary utensils, napkins, plates, bowls, juice machines, and display trays are available.
- Provide warm and courteous service, assisting guests with breakfast-related inquiries and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
- Uphold health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation, and hygiene protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas, including the breakfast area, lobby, front desk, guest laundry facilities, hallways, entrances, and corridors.
- Assist with inventory management and report any shortages or equipment issues to management.
- Promptly report maintenance concerns to the appropriate department.
- Ensure trash is collected and properly disposed of in the exterior dumpster by the end of the shift.
- Support hotel-wide cleanliness initiatives, including compliance with Count on Us hygiene protocols and preventative maintenance programs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand standards.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Compliance with uniform and name tag requirements.
