Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Front Desk Agent, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience at our hotel or resort.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest accounts.
  • Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, while maintaining an organized booking system.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills.
  • Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and balanced.
  • Maintain the front desk area in a clean and organized manner to create a positive first impression.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest services and experiences.
  • Utilize phone etiquette to handle incoming calls professionally, directing them as necessary.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hotel or hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds; multilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to provide outstanding guest services.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficient in using computer systems for reservations and front desk operations; familiarity with hotel management software is advantageous.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Hotel experience: 1 year (Preferred)
