Guest Service Representative Duties
- Guest Check-In and Check-Out
- Welcome guests upon arrival in a friendly and professional manner
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently
- Issue room keys and provide information about the hotel and amenities
- Customer Service
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints
- Provide accurate information about local attractions, dining, and transportation
- Maintain a positive and helpful attitude at all times
- Reservations and Booking
- Manage phone and online reservations
- Modify,, or confirm bookings as needed
- Upsell rooms and services when appropriate to maximize revenue
- Handling Payments
- Process payments accurately (cash, credit cards, etc.)
- Maintain proper documentation and financial records
- Communication and Coordination
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready
- Communicate guest preferences and special requests to appropriate departments
- Update guest information and preferences in the system
- Record Keeping and Reports
- Maintain logs of guest complaints, incidents, and feedback
- Prepare daily shift reports and handovers
- Ensure all guest information is confidential and secure
- Problem Solving
- Handle unexpected situations with professionalism
- Escalate issues to management when needed
- Lobby and Front Desk Area Management
- Keep the front desk area clean and organized
- Ensure promotional materials and brochures are stocked and up to date
- Monitor guest activity and maintain a secure environment
- Loyalty Program Assistance
- Assist guests with enrollment and information about hotel loyalty programs
- Ensure members receive benefits and upgrades as applicable
- Team Collaboration
- Work closely with other front office staff, housekeeping, and management
- Attend team meetings and training sessions
- Support teammates during busy periods
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
