Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure all rooms and common areas are well-maintained and presentable at all times.
- Manage laundry services by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with company policies.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Background in hospitality or hotel housekeeping management is advantageous.
- Knowledge of floor care procedures including carpet cleaning, waxing, and buffing is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
