Duties
- Prepare and present breakfast items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Ensure that the breakfast area is clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout service hours.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly and assisting them with their breakfast selections.
- Monitor food safety practices, including proper food handling and storage techniques.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of the breakfast service area before and after meal times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including ingredients, allergens, and preparation methods.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and culinary techniques is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
- Basic cash handling experience is beneficial.
