What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Housekeeper and Laundry position at Super 8, Melbourne?
As a Hotel Housekeeper and Laundry staff member, you will be essential in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel. Perform any combination of light cleaning duties to maintain, hotel’s common spaces and hotel rooms in a clean and orderly manner as per established standards. Duties will include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms, bathrooms and halls, atriums, office, and vacuuming and ensuring high standards of hospitality. Laundering, drying and folding linen and towels, and maintaining records of duties performed.
The ideal candidate will be able and willing to carry up to 50 lbs at least one story up the stairs and up to a 50 yards distance; reach under, around and over furniture and fixtures; will have the ability to use cleaning chemicals in an approved manner; and will have the willingness and ability to work long hours especially on weekends and holidays.
