Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track maintenance activities and manage work orders.
- Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Execute residential painting tasks as needed to maintain aesthetic quality.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing and troubleshooting.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
- Lead small teams on specific projects or during peak maintenance periods, fostering collaboration among team members.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
- Familiarity with CMMS software is an advantage.
- Experience in residential painting is a plus.
- Proficiency with tools such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
