What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Housekeeper position at Super 8 Pueblo?
- Clean corridors, lobbies, stairways, elevators and lounges as well as guest rooms
- Restock room supplies such as drinking glasses, soaps, shampoos, writing supplies, mini bar
- Replace dirty linens with clean items
- Inspect mattresses regularly
- Store all dirty laundry in line with company policy
- Check all appliances in rooms are in working order
- Respond to guest queries and requests
- Respond to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills, broken glasses
- Deliver any requested housekeeping items to guest rooms
- Organize and restock cart as necessary
- Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms
- Follow all company safety and security procedures
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
- Observe and report damage of hotel propertyMust be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length * Be able to exert well-paced ability in limited space. * Exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously. * Must be able to lift or pull up to 20 lbs. by yourself; and be able to lift over 20 (on occasion) with assistance. * Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
