We are currently looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Front Desk team. The successful candidate will be welcoming with friendly attitude, be team orientated, be efficient and a good problem solver. Hours include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
The hours are: Second Shift 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. and third Shift 11:00 pm- 7:00 am. The pay is $13 to $15 per hour based on qualification. The scheduled days and times may vary based on need..
The responsibilities of a Front Desk Agent include: Greet and register guests, make reservations, assign rooms, accommodate special requests, run night audit and ensure our guests have a pleasant stay and smooth checkout. Responsibilities and Duties
- Communicate accurately and effectively with guests and co-workers alike
- Respond accurately and completely to give directions, instructions, information, answer questions and provide services required
- Register guests; reconcile guest accounts, cash handling, process guest requests, and up-selling
- Coordinate and communicate guests needs with Shuttle Drivers
- Use arithmetic to check totals and make correct change
- Use google maps and give clear directions
- Memorize the hours of operation for the hotel facilities
- Efficiently operate the phone system and related equipment
- Operate alarm and emergency equipment
- Direct hotel evacuation in the event of an emergency
- Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to communicate with public, hotel staff, and management in a professional manner
- Skilled in use of a computer and related software
- Ability to understand and adhere to proper credit, check cashing, and cash handling policies and procedures
- Ability to properly secure guest information
- Ability to learn safety, emergency, and accident prevention policies and procedures within the hotel
- Ability to sit or stand for varying lengths of time, sometimes for long periods
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous hotel-related experience is not required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
