Sales Executive: New Business Development

Join the Super Bright LEDs team as an enthusiastic Sales Executive for our new commercial and industrial lines! In this pivotal role, you'll spearhead revenue growth and drive new business sales in support of our newly launched commercial lighting website. Your responsibilities will encompass prospecting and cultivating leads, engaging in face-to-face interactions with potential clients, and successfully closing sales leads.

This is a full-time position with local travel required and occasional longer distance for national events or sales targets. Our company is headquartered in Earth City, Missouri.


Responsibilities:


  • Serve as the company’s external lead sales executive, showcasing our products to potential customers while identifying solutions that best fits their needs. 
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted prospecting to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients and understand their unique lighting needs to provide tailored solutions to enhance energy efficiency and cost savings. 
  • Attend industry events and client meetings in the United States. 
  • Conduct persuasive and engaging presentations to showcase the advantages of our LED lighting solutions. Address client concerns, objections, and position our products as the preferred choice.
  • Stay informed about the latest LED lighting technologies and products. 
  • Effectively communicate the features and benefits of our offerings to clients, demonstrating how our solutions meet their specific requirements. 
  • Prepare sales presentations, RFP responses, and accurate and competitive quotes and proposals in a timely manner. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that proposals align with client expectations and company capabilities. 
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.


Qualifications:


  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Outside sales experience in construction, facilities management, and/or industrial /commercial lighting preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of LED lighting technology and its diverse applications.
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in outside sales, demonstrating a proven track record of attracting new business. 
  • Residence in or near the assigned territory within the St. Louis, Missouri metropolitan region.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with clients and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a strong focus on achieving measurable results.
  • Established network or channel of potential LED industrial lighting clients preferred such as contractors, facility management, energy services, lighting manufacturer or wholesaler.
