What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Machine Operator: 2nd Shift position at Super Brush LLC?
Super Brush LLC is a family-owned manufacturer in Springfield, MA. We offer competitive compensation and a generous benefits package. 2nd shift opening, M-F 2:15pm - 10:45pm.
Candidates must have at least 2 years machine operating experience in a light industrial manufacturing environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay:
- $19.00/hr ($18.00/hr base $1.00/hr shift differential)
About Job:
- Run multiple foam swab machines
- Perform pull tests as needed
- Maintain lot control while labeling cartons
- Perform die cleanings and fill out logs appropriately
- Keep work area in clean and orderly manner
- Understand and comply with Clean Room Procedures
- Make minor adjustments to machine temperatures
- Comply with all safety requirements
Education and Experience:
- At least 2 years prior experience working in light industrial manufacturing environment required
- At least 2 years prior machine operating experience
- Appropriate training and experience to fulfill all requirements of work areas described above
Competencies and Skills:
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English language
- Must be able to communicate in English verbally and in writing (basic verbal instructions, simple written memos and instructions)
Physical Demands:
- Fast paced position
- Must be able to repeatedly lift 20 lbs
- Must be able to work on feet or seated for extended periods of time
- Continuous standing, walking, lifting, bending, pushing/pulling, and reaching
