Position: Cashier/Stock Associate

Job Summary:

Super Buys is seeking a dedicated and reliable Cashier/Stock Associate to join our dynamic team. This role involves both assisting customers with purchases and stocking merchandise to maintain store presentation. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a keen eye for detail, and are willing to contribute to various store tasks (including working the register when needed), we would love to have you on our team.

Key Responsibilities:

*Greet and assist customers with their purchases in a friendly, professional manner *Understand customer needs and provide tailored product recommendations *Demonstrate and explain merchandise to help customers make informed purchasing decisions *Operate the store’s point-of-sale system to process payments, handle returns, and exchanges *Retrieve merchandise from the sales floor, stockroom, or other inventory areas; place special orders as needed *Load and unload merchandise, ensuring shelves are fully stocked and displays are built and maintained *Monitor and maintain inventory levels on the sales floor *Assist with customers. *Ensure inventory is kept stocked. *Assist with general store organization, including stocking shelves and building displays *Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

*Previous retail experience or experience in a stockroom position is preferred *Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills *Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and multitasking skills *Ability to quickly learn the store’s point-of-sale system *Physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods *Availability to work on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays is required; open availability is preferred

Education and Experience:

*High school diploma or equivalent preferred *Previous retail or stockroom experience is preferred, but on-the-job training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

*Ability to stand, walk, and move merchandise throughout the store for prolonged periods *Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs when needed

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation depends on your experience.
