Manufacturing Production Assistant

We are seeking a reliable, dedicated, and hard-working person to join our production team. The team member will work in our screen-printing department, which requires experience, stamina, and quick thinking.

The team member will screen print signs and includes setting up the screen press machine by preparing the screens, loading, and adjusting screens, inking screens, squeegee selection and test print. After the print job is complete, set-down the screen press machine by removing and de-inking the screens. Secondary activities would be to help in other areas of production. The ideal candidate must be able to perform repeated actions for the duration of the work shift and show attention to detail.

**Hours - 1st shift hours are 6am - 2:30pm

Primary Responsibilities:

Operate screen cleaning/reclaiming machine

Prepare screens for printing

Assist with setting up and operating printing equipment

Help with cleaning and maintaining equipment and materials

Prepare materials and tools for use

Support the setup printing processes

Continuous communication with team

Keep work area clean and organized

Assist with additional tasks as needed to support the department

Job Requirements:

• 1-year experience working as a screener in a print shop (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Physical stamina to stand during entire shift, excluding breaks
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with team members and management
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to multi-task
• Attention to detail is a must

Job Type: Temp Seasonal with possible permanent opportunity

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Experience: 1-year screen printing experience

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
