Super Cheap Signs is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented person with a positive CAN-DO attitude who can hustle to join our team as Production Team Member - Shipping Helper (Entry Level).
Since 1991 we have been providing high-quality, low-cost signs to our customers nationwide. Our company is fast-paced and ever-changing.
We are seeking a reliable, dedicated, and hard-working person who will support our shipping department, which requires stamina, hard work and quick thinking. The team member will assist with normal outbound pick/pack/ship responsibilities. The ideal candidate must be able to perform repeated actions for the duration of the work shift and show attention to detail. This is a temporary SEASONAL position which usually runs into May/June.
Primary Responsibilities
- Same day packing and palletizing of all orders scheduled for that day
- Pick and pack stock resale items
- Restock all shipping material and prepare for the next business day
- Cut and package half-wire stakes using bolt cutters
- Quality control checks of products produced
- Communicate product concerns to Shipping lead or Operations Supervisor
- Other special projects and duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physical stamina to stand during entire shift, excluding breaks
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with team members and management
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to hustle
- Ability to multi-task
- Prior Shipping experience (not required)
- Attention to detail is a must
