Position Overview:
As a Barback at Catch 23, you’ll play a critical behind-the-scenes role in keeping our bar running smoothly. You’ll support our bartenders by ensuring they have everything they need to craft exceptional drinks and serve our guests efficiently. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow in the hospitality industry and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic restaurant setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock and replenish bar with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, glassware, and other supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Assist bartenders with preparation of garnishes and ingredients
- Remove used glassware and dishes from the bar and tables
- Empty trash and recycling bins throughout your shift
- Restock ice and maintain ice bins
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards
- Support the overall guest experience with a positive and professional attitude
- Assist with opening and closing duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant environment preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
