What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Shift Leader position at Super Chix Chicken & Custard?
Super Chix Chicken & Custard is a NEW quick service restaurant in Boiling Springs. We are currently seeking motivated, energetic, and hardworking individuals to join our Management Team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Put away truck orders 4 times a week (must be quick and organized. and able to lift 50lbs without assistant)
- Keep the kitchen clean and organized (ie. box flaps cut, product rotated, shelves labeled)
- Write accurate prep lists, to ensure we aren't running out of anything during the day
- Ensure all food is coming out of the kitchen, Fresh, accurate, and in a timely manner.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly restaurant.
- Working safely to maintain health and safety regulations.
- Controlling waste and labor throughout the shift.
- Performing opening/closing duties
- Attention to detail, ensuring the restaurant is closed properly and cleaned thoroughly, setting up the next shift for success.
- Proper cash handling. Counting drawers and safe 3 times a day.
- Ensure team members are fulfilling their duties to a high standard.
- Bring great energy, to help create and maintain a fun work environment for the entire team
Required Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous customer service experience required.
- Must have a valid Serv Safe Manager certification.
- 1 year of management experience preferred.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with customers at all levels of the organization, both verbally and written. Must be able to follow verbal instructions while looking for an answer to a question or look for solutions to a problem. Must be able to follow written instructions while looking for an answer to a problem or look for solutions to a problem at all levels of the organization. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand for eight hours at a time. Must be able to work during all hours shifts are scheduled. Must be able to work weekends. Must be able to work overtime when needed. Must have reliable transportation. Must have valid driver's license.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
