Responsibilities of an Automobile Detailer
1. Exterior Detailing:
Washing and drying the vehicle's exterior.
Polishing and waxing the car to protect the paint and enhance its appearance.
Cleaning and restoring tires, rims, and chrome parts.
Applying protective coatings like ceramic coatings.
Removing tar, sap, and other contaminants from the vehicle’s surface.
2. Interior Detailing:
Vacuuming and shampooing carpets and upholstery.
Cleaning and conditioning leather seats.
Cleaning dashboards, consoles, and other interior surfaces.
Removing stains and odors from the interior.
Cleaning windows and mirrors.
3. Engine Bay Cleaning:
Cleaning and dressing the engine bay to remove dirt and grease.
Ensuring all components are dry and properly reassembled.
4. Inspection and Quality Control:
Inspecting the vehicle before and after detailing to ensure high-quality standards.
Reporting any damages or issues found during the detailing process.
5. Customer Service:
Interacting with customers to understand their specific detailing needs.
Providing information on services offered and making recommendations.
Handling customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
Required Work Experience
Must have relative work experience
Previous experience in car detailing or a related automotive field.
Experience with various detailing tools and products.
Skills
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with detailing tools and equipment (e.g., buffers, steam cleaners, vacuum cleaners).
Knowledge of different car care products and their applications.
Ability to identify and remove various types of stains and contaminants.
Attention to Detail:
High level of attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and finishing.
Ability to spot imperfections and address them effectively.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and working in various weather conditions.
Stamina to handle long hours of manual work.
Customer Service Skills:
Strong communication skills for interacting with customers.
Ability to understand and meet customer expectations.
Education

Pay: $500.00 - $700.00 per week
