What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) :

  • Ship projects end-to-end in a fast-paced, iterative environment
  • Own features, services, caches, and databases, including deployment, monitoring, debugging, and testing
  • Mentor junior developers and uphold standards for quality through code reviews
  • Participate in cross-functional team projects and help shape the roadmap for future initiatives
  • Conduct experiments and be data-driven to enhance user experience and business metrics

    • What is Required (Qualifications) :

  • 4 years of professional working experience in software development
  • 2 years of experience with Python or Node on the backend
  • 2 years of experience working with a modern frontend JS framework (e.g., React, Vue, Angular)
  • Proven experience mentoring junior developers
  • Comfortable tackling system design challenges and working with web services / modern web technologies

    • How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) :

  • Experience with a breadth of technologies including React, Python, Node, Gitlab, AWS, Docker, Postgres, Redis, Datadog, Amplitude, and Snowflake
  • SQL / analytics knowledge and familiarity with devops concepts
  • Experience in a startup environment
  • Experience writing end-to-end / browser-based tests
  • Worked closely with business stakeholders
