What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic and skilled individual to join our team in a multifaceted role that combines small engines repair, light mechanical expertise, and organizational duties. The ideal candidate will be well organized, have a proactive attitude, excellent work ethic and conduct themselves professionally. They will perform basic to complex diagnostics of equipment and vehicles and must be able to provide complete and appropriate solutions.
Skills/Abilities:
- Experience with gas engine repair
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics related to equipment operation and repair
- Familiar with power tools and their safe operation
- Knowledge of electrical systems related to mowing equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively
- Capable of performing heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently
Primary Responsibilities:
- Service and maintain all equipment and vehicles, ensuring optimal performance
- Conduct regular inspections on all equipment and vehicles including but not limited to: mowers, trimmers, blowers, trucks, trailers, and skid steers
- Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper functionality
- Perform emergency road repairs for vehicles, trailers and equipment when necessary
- Maintain and update maintenance logs for all equipment and vehicles
- Oversee and manage inventory levels for essential supplies, including paint, hardware, tools, and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with the Operation Manager regarding service recommendations
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Adhere by and enforce all company policies
- Lift or carry up to 75 pounds
Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Small engines and light duty truck experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Basic welding experience (Preferred)
- Must have a valid driver’s license (Required)
- Reliable transportation (Required)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
