Job Summary : Supermicro is seeking a talented Solution Engineer with great attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability to join our software team. You will be responsible for examining all aspects of the Software / Firmware / products / applications / solutions and provide detailed analysis. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Operational Deep Dives : Tackle complex business questions where thedataand insights lie across several organizations. Usedatato crystalize insights and present them to senior leadership . The type of questions the person would tackle are "What type of customers do well with (Business Name) in the long term?", "Why did (KPIs) drop by X% in a month? Is this a one off or part of a long term trend". "What are key drivers of growth in the customer base".
- KPI Development, Reporting and Analysis : Own the reporting and analysis of Supermicro KPI metrics. At times this may involve detecting issues in the metric and triaging them with Solution Engineering and suggest & lead development of new KPIs in support of business health.
- Operational Reporting : Work with various teams (People Ops, FinOps) to lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive operational dashboards across the company. Present operational reports to leaders on a regular basis.
- DataAsset Development : Spearhead projects to build newdataassets and capabilities (e.g., cohort tooling, anomaly detection).
- ChampionDataQuality Checks across the reporting layer Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering); Master's degree preferred.
- 2 years of experience indataanalytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in SQL
- Familiarity with statistical concepts, including model evaluation metrics, forecasting methodologies, and confidence intervals.
- Experience withdatavisualization tools and techniques. Looker preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, particularly for senior audiences.
- Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects. Salary Range $70,000 - $119,000 The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
