What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host position at Super Nice Pizza?
Super Nice Pizza is looking for welcoming and organized Hosts to be the first point of contact for our guests. Our focus is on making sure our guests have an amazing time and you will be the first person, and often the last person, they interact with in an evening, and so we're looking for some great, personable, people to be part of the team. Bonus if you have serving or bartending experience as we have a small team and if you're able to flex around the restaurant, even better.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and manage reservations.
- Coordinate seating and ensure smooth table turnover.
- Provide menu details and answer guest inquiries.
- Assist the bar or servers as needed.
- Maintain an eye on the bathrooms and floor to keep them in good order.
- Handle the phone.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience hosting in a restaurant that takes reservations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Friendly and professional demeanor.
Details:
- Pay: $16–$18/hour.
- Schedule: Flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
