Mesa Location Production
Job Summary: Assembly employees will read drawings & routers/ work orders, lace, measure, build & move coils independently & with teammates
Essential Functions:
- Lift coils with overhead crane at certified level
- Gather component parts for build: fins, casings, hairpins
- Fixture table correctly using braces, clamps & endplates
- Safely use electric, pneumatic, floor & hand tools
- Align fins for build with alignment rod
- Manage & move oversized fin bundles
- Lace fins with hairpins or tubes
- Locate & arrange setup material- wood, cardboard or foam
- Ream coil correctly (as approved by supervisor)
- Extend table for larger coils
- Push or pull larger items: pallet, hairpin cart, coils on carts
- ID & tag unsafe equipment
- Clean area to 5S standards
Required Abilities (Mental & Physical):
- Able to safely lift up to 50lbs
- Able to stand for long periods & stoop/bend frequently
- Able to follow directions of supervisor or lead
- Able to safely use all tools once instructed on correct use
- Able to measure per the drawing
- Able to interpret drawings, routers & special notes once trained
- Possessing a basic understanding of math
- Open to constructive criticism
- Possessing a positive attitude in the face of challenges
Qualifications (Required)
- Work history demonstrating success in a production environment
- Positive attitude
- Math and blueprint reading skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Experience and capable forklift operation
- Metalworking manufacturing experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification
