What are the responsibilities and job description for the BIM / REVIT SPECIALIST position at Super Recruiter LLC?
The ideal BIM / Revit Specialist candidate will work closely with the project engineers and design team to produce high quality and detailed electrical design, coordination & pre-fabrication documents for our clients. Using Revit, the BIM / Revit specialist will translate architectural / engineering drawings, models & sketches into computer-generated BIM / drawings and coordinate the model and drawings with other discipline teams for a variety of projects that range in size and complexity.
Key Responsibilities :
- BIM Management : Create, manage, and optimize BIM workflows and standards for all projects. Ensure the successful integration of BIM processes and tools throughout the project lifecycle.
- Revit Modeling : Develop and maintain detailed Revit models for architectural, structural, MEP, and other design disciplines, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design specifications.
- Collaboration & Coordination : Work closely with project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure the Revit models are coordinated and clash-free.
- Model Quality Control : Conduct regular model reviews to ensure the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and compliance with BIM standards.
- Documentation & Reporting : Produce accurate BIM documentation, including drawings, schedules, and reports, and ensure timely delivery to stakeholders.
- Training & Support : Provide Revit and BIM training, guidance, and technical support to team members to enhance their modeling skills and knowledge of BIM standards.
- Software Management : Stay up to date with the latest BIM tools and Revit software updates. Assist in software selection, installation, and configuration.
Qualifications :
Manage modeling efforts and deliverables to solve construction issues.
Working Conditions : This position operates in an office environment. Routine use of standard office equipment is required. Must be able to use a computer for extended periods of time. Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, and expected to occasionally lift, stoop, bend and reach. Ability to learn and solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions is required.
