Key Responsibilities:
- Litigation Management: Oversee and maintain litigation calendars, ensuring all deadlines and appointments are met.
- Client & Counsel Interaction: Act as a liaison between clients, attorneys, and opposing counsel to facilitate smooth communication and coordination.
- Coordination: Organize meetings, conferences, and client intakes, providing comprehensive support to attorneys.
- Document Preparation: Draft motions, manage legal filings, and assist in case preparation for attorneys.
- Supervisory Potential: Provide guidance to junior team members as needed, ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum of several years of experience managing litigation calendars and legal tasks across multiple jurisdictions.
- Preference for candidates with experience in high-volume, litigation-heavy firms.
- Familiarity with jurisdictions like New York, Texas, or others is a significant advantage.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to independently manage deadlines and priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in legal software and calendaring tools.
- Work Environment:
- Must be based near a major population center to facilitate 20% on-site work (consultations, conferences, etc.).
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of debt collection or settlement cases.
Compensation:
- Salary Range: $60,000–$65,000 annually.
