Overview:
The position is responsible for proficiency in all areas of a retail operation. Duties include providing leadership and direction to store employees, ensuring a positive customer shopping experience and performing operation activities throughout the store.
Schedule: A combination of Day Shifts, Evening Shifts, and Weekends. Some Holidays are required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Store Manager in store operations including, driving sales and profit, customer loyalty, planning prioritization, and delegating of daily tasks.
- Support Store Manager in employee counseling, hiring/staffing decisions, scheduling, employee training and development, and maintaining a productive work environment.
- Supervise and manage all aspects of daily store operations in the Store Manager's absence.
- Perform opening/closing procedures.
- Transport and make deposits to the bank.
- Resolve customer complaints/issues and ensure the customer has a positive experience.
- Lead freight movement and inventory control.
- Train employees on the appropriate application of policies and procedures.
- Operate a cash register or computer efficiently.
- Adhere to loss prevention standards and respond to any alarm calls as needed.
- Complete all documentation associate with any of the above job duties.
